ABOUT THE ARTIST

Denise Enslen

Denise Enslen has been painting since she retired from teaching. She does not pretend to be a professional artist. She paints for her own enjoyment and fulfilling a desire she had since she was a child in French schools.

In college she received a minor in Art History and has always been interested in studying works of the world great Masters. Still today one of her interests is to find art related sites over the Internet.

Denise received many ribbons and awards. She recently decided to add another dimension to her watercolor painting by using different material such as pen and ink, gouache and "papier collé" (glued paper).

This artist has attended a few watercolor workshops, but is mostly self-taught. She has given a couple of workshops on this particular manner to work with collage. She hopes to be able to share that great joy of painting with others.
