Plight of the Urban Poor

With ill distribution of wealth accross the country, people are forced to live beyond human dignity. Dwelling such

as these are common to people earning below the poverty line. How can a monthly household income of $125.00 afford a family to provide a decent shelter? While the rich and statesmen wallow with their loot, people of poor descent continues to

live miserably. Year after year regime after regime. With the evil of capitalism rooted deeply within the system, these

poor living conditions will never change.

These shanties has been on this riverside from the last 15 years. However, life has never changed for its dwellers.

Generations have passed, administration has changed numerously but nothing was changed for these urban poor. The

evils of capitalism is deeply rooted within the society and so long as this remains. Life for these people will never change.
