Welcome to the [ Bez ] 3D Architecture, Modeling and Delphi programming home page.
Also the home page of PowerFliC and some of my friend's softwares

What's new:

Mar. 5th 1997:

Not much new to tell, i have updated the PowerFliC links to include more working ones, and removed some of the now defunct Tucows Mirrors. I have also added PowerFliC to my site so you can download it directly, but it will probably be slower, so try Tucows first.

Nov. 23th 1997:

I am moving to another ISP, so my previous E-Mail at gioragur@netvision.net.il would no longer work. You can still find me at my rerouter E-Mail at yaron@earthling.net

Nov. 11th 1997:

PowerFliC v2.52 is now available for download on Tucows.

You can also found the new PowerFliC v1.04 delphi component on the software page.

Nov. 7th 1997:

PowerFliC v2.52 is released. It may take a day or two for the new download links to function.

The links to the PowerFliC component is currently broken, but a new version will be released soon.

Oct. 9th 1997:

Added a nice new Sunset image, looks really nice, check it out at the gallery page.

Oct. 7th 1997:

Added a new image to the gallery, you can check it on the gallery page.

Oct. 6th 1997:

Small fix to the Delphi flic playing component, get it at the software page.

Oct. 1st 1997:

Redid the tomb picture with new reflections and shadows. Check it on the gallery page.

Sep. 28th 1997:

Released PowerFliC v2.51. You can find it at the software page.

Sep. 20th 1997:

Released PowerFliC v2.50. It contains many fixes and some tweeks, you can find it at the software page.

Sep. 19th 1997:

I seem to be under a creative mood lately, i have added two more pictures to the gallery section.
You can find them at the gallery page.

Sep. 16th 1997:

I have created another space scene picturing a dark ship orbiting a water based world. You can find it at the gallery page.
I know that some of the links are broken, i just need to take the time to fix them, which currently i don't really have.

Sep. 15th 1997:

A new PowerFliC component version 1.01, it fixes several bugs, improves the interface and comes with a Delphi 2 version. You can find it at the software page.

Sep. 7th 1997:

I have rerendered the mailbox picture in the gallery to fix a small bug in it's original design.

Sep. 6th 1997:

Due to popular requests, i have written a flic playing component for Delphi 3.0, for more information check the software page.

Aug. 25th 1997:

With these new pictures it's official. Im completly out of web space, i think my geocities account has under 10kb of free space, and unless someone is willing to let me have more space i will probably not add any new pictures to the gallery. Or i might erase some of the older images to free up more space.

I have added a new picture i created using airbrushing, it's all 2D and no special effects were used in it's creation. You can find it on the picture gallery.

I have also added two new renderings, a table scene and a still from an animation i created a while back. You can find them both on the gallery page.

I also fixed small things around the page to make it look more presentable.

Aug. 23rd 1997:

I released PowerFliC v2.12. It's just a small fix, check it out at the software page.

Also, i recently moved my E-Mail to a redirector just in case i would like to change an ISP in the future.
My new E-Mail is yaron@earthling.net.

Jul. 13th 1997:

I released PowerFliC v2.11 yesterday, it now has a pause feature and frame by frame movement, check it out at the software page.

Jun. 27th 1997:

At last after a many hours, i've released PowerFliC v2.01 (v2.00 was a local test version for mailing list only). It now fixes several bugs, overides the annoying windows bug that caused a flic to display all skewed, and adds Direct-X full-screen support, which truly rocks!, you MUST check it out at the software page.

May. 28th 1997:

Just a little fix to the animated gifs on the left sidebar (they are all 1-2k smaller now).

May. 20th 1997:

Long time since the last update, and not much of an update it is, the one new thing i've updated is the newest release of PowerFlic v1.80. You may find it in the Software Page.

This new version allows you to save a flic file into a series of BMP pictures. This is useful if you want to render to flic then convert it to the animated GIF format using programs like Gif Construction Set.

Mar. 27th 1997:

It seems that when i changed to the frames interface, i screwed up the mail link, now it should work. Other then that, i added a new picture to the gallery, it's a 212kb picture and is located on a new server. Thanks go to Zion Mizrahi for providing me with some web-space for new pictures (I have less than 100k left on geocities).

And, if you didn't notice it i did a few more small tweeking to the gallery link animation and the sidebar background image so it would appear to fit better into the frame on the right.

Mar. 21th 1997:

I changed the look of the page, i know frames can suck, but hopefully done well they look good. You be the judge.

I've also replaced the gallery icon and did some other small tweeking to the page.

Mar. 4th 1997:

Another small update, i've added a classic UFO picture i've done yesterday to the picture gallery.

P.S. Im not advertising A. Spelling's new t.v. series in the new picture... i just wanted to have something nice in the background (hehehe)

Feb. 28th 1997:

It seems that i forgot we were in 1997, since my last two news updates were listed as 1996, oh well, fixed that.

In any case, i've released a new version of PowerFliC, it's v1.72, and you can find links to it in the software page. You can also find it on tucows or any of it's mirrors.

Feb. 20th 1997:

Well, not much change to the page this update.
I've added a new Architectual picture, it's a nice one so check out it on the gallery page.

Also, tomorrow im getting a new CPU (woohoo), can you believe all these renderings were done on a Pentium 100mhz!?!?
In any case ill have one of those new Pentium 200mhz+MMX, that should just about double my rendering speed. So any rendering time given from now on SHOULD refer to the new CPU used.

Jan. 30th 1997:

Once again, it's been too long since my last update, not too much happened but i do have several things to relay:

Firstly, i had a free internet storage account on a site called DragonFire, however, they now seem to be going commercial, and i can no longer hold my animations and pictures there, that means, that the planet mpeg will now be removed, and i shrinked two of the pictures to save up disk space. My main site shall now return back to geocities, and i should have about 2mb of space there, so it'll have to do for now.

So remember, if your current link to this page is from www.dragonfire.net, change it to either:
1. bez.home.ml.org (See info on new domain below).
2. www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Park/6601/index.html

However, if you (the person reading this), know of any place i can store my pictures freely (legal stuff only!), PLEASE E-Mail me.
I need something in the range of 5mb or more (so i can also store MPEG animations).

Cuts from this page due to dragonfire's commercial adventures are:
1. The tutorial (which may still be found at www.max3d.com).
2. The LED (cause i don't think you can create sub-dirs on geocities).
3. The planet mpeg i mentioned before.
4. Some quality reduction to the jpeg pictures.

On a brighter note, there still are some free stuff on the internet, check out www.ml.org. These guys are cool, they give you a free domain name that redirects any access to it to any web page you give them!.

You ask "What does it mean", well, it means that this page now has it's own domain! So, check out bez.home.ml.org! This link now redirects right into my geocities home page.

More changes to the page include the removal of SS|Inferno's plug-in page (since it merged into www.max3d.com). Addition of several new links (including some cool free MAX plug-ins). An updated "872.jpg" picture, this hopefully is the final picture (see the gallery section for this picture and some of the comments about it). Also added is a new "plug-in" picture (see gallery), i made it for the max3d page, but so far the page admin hasn't used it, or may never will, who knows.

Well, this is it for now, i have no new projects in the near future. I am however in the process of writting an internet RPG style game. The project is still in the works and require lots and lots of graphics, so if anyone wants to contribute (can't pay though...), please e-mail me. I am most interested in character animation experts for doing a DIABLO type character.

Dec. 10th 1996:

It's been quite some time since the last update, but at last i updated the page. From now on i'll try to write the "what's new" section as actual text, i think it makes the page a little more "human". In this update i have added several links while updating some long-overdue links such as the #3DSMax home page. All the updated links are marked as updated with a date, so you can easaly find them.

Other than the links, i have also added two new architectual pictures to the gallery area and one new picture to my own personal gallery.

Other than that, i have also added a new MPEG to my gallery, it is rather big (720kb), and requires A LOT of CPU power to view, not to mention other hardware such as a FAST SVGA card and a good software/hardware MPEG player. Hope you like it, took 11 hours to render.

Nov. 17th 1996:

PowerFliC v1.71 released, lots of little fix-ups and one new command line parameter.
One more architectual picture added to the gallery.
Two more renderings added to the gallery.
I have created a PowerFliC mailing list, if you want to get the newest version by E-Mail, drop me a message.

Nov. 11th 1996:

Added one of those nifty led scrollers.

Nov. 9th 1996:

Once again, i've redrawn the bullet button graphics, this one is more to my liking.
Now when you move your mouse over the animated index graphics above, the status bar will let you know where you're going.
I took out the "In the weeks to come" area, it has no viable use.

Nov. 4th 1996:

PowerFliC v1.70 released, small bug fix, and Sync Wave play through command line.
New buttons drawn for all listed items (such as this one ).

Oct. 25th 1996:

All the gallery pictures have been moved to the Dragonfire server due to the lack of space, might be slightly slower to load.
PowerFliC v1.62 released, 2 small fixes & 1 small addition.
Five new architectual pictures added to the picture gallery.
Several links added.

Oct. 12th 1996:

PowerFliC v1.61 released, a major resource leak fixed!

Sep. 29th 1996:

The tutorial page is now complete, including the tutorial scroll icon.

Sep. 28th 1996:

The face tutorial is now up, i now need to create a tutorial icon.

Sep. 21th 1996:

New links in the 3D links area.
Also, new links in the favorite software & news area.
New software for you RPG fans, WinSpell v6.0 32bit by Tal Barkey.
Added an "In the weeks to come" area.
I removed the PowerFliC link at geocities, i only have a 1mb quota, which isn't enough to keep the software on-line.

Sep. 11th 1996:

Completely rewrote the page!
All new rendered graphics, 100% original.
Page appears faster! (due to placing of image sizes inside html document).
We have a new WWW Server/Mirror at http://www.dragonfire.net/~bedazzler (Yes, that's what [Bez] is short for).
Even more graphic work in the 3D gallery.

Sep. 7th 1996:

Added a What's new area.
Added a Friend's software area.
Added more links to the 3D links area.
Link to C|NET news changed.
Added more of my works to my 3D gallery.
PowerFliC v1.60 released!
PowerFliC may now be downloaded localy (from this page), tucows will only act as a mirror from now on.
Lots of little fix-ups.
