I have various interests. Here are some.

  • exercise

    I like swimming, badminton, table-tennis, bowling and snooker for indoor activities. Skiing and skating are also my favorites.

  • gardening

    • I have a small garden with lots of vegetable, flowers and trees. I grow green onions, garlics, cabbages, eggplants, tomatoes for vegetable. Tulips, dandelions, orchids, roses, jasmines... I also have papaya, guava, starfruit, mango subtropical fruit trees. I enjoy spending my whole afternoon cleaning the weed, chasing the bees, watering the sprouts...

  • stock

    • Price numbers always attract me. I like to invest in stocks and monitor the company's growth. How great to see your income accumulate!

  • writing

    • I started writing articles since I was six. I enjoy gathering the newspaper clips and piling them in different categories. Here's one of my articles posted in "Central Daily Newspaper" when I was 12. Enjoy!

  • music

    • When I was a teenager I loved pop music. Billboard and Cashbox charts had my weekly attention. Now I like classical music more.

  • education

    • I joined Jen-Ai Junior High School right after I returned from Libya to Taiwan. I spent three years in Chien-Kuo Senior High School in Taipei. Another four years in National Cheng-Kung University before I studied abroad. NCKU graduation I got my master degree in EE at University of Southern California. I also had one semester of PhD program but didn't finish it.

  • work

    • I am in digital hardware design automation area. I write hardware descriptive language(HDL) in either Verilog or VHDL and get the design codes synthesized into netlists. Customers are semiconductor foundry vendors and IC design houses. The job is quite interesting and challenging.
