About Me

Well, there's not much I can say about myself. So here goes...
I was born in 1980 (you're welcome to figure out how old I am). I've been into computers since 5th grade (about age 11) because some kids were talking about strange things like "ren star-dot-star", and "deer ay-colon". So I figured I needed to learn, and I started reading computer/OS related books. But the time I was 13, I was working and a part-time network administrator in a small company named "Thinking Computers". And in the past few years, I've been working as a network administrator in FourFold Technologies Ltd.

I've been programming in various languages since age 12 (all the way from Logo, through Basic, C/C++, and even some Fortran). The feeling of having a spark in your mind, and making that spark take shape, and appear on the computer - It's like giving life to an inanimate object. The whole feeling of creation... It really intense.

So much for the CV... Oh, BTW - I live in Israel.

I'm styding now in the university, as an atudai. That's a special army program that allows me to earn a degree before I go to the army, and I'll serve in my speciality, which is Mathematics. Kinda fun, I suppose.

Last thing I've been working in was between semesters -- "web application design", or "web back-end design" -- what ever you want to call it. Go to GreetingCenter.com to see what I helped make. Mind you, I only designed the parts that drive the website, not the way it looks. I've learned to despise Netscape and Microsoft equally, for designing such annoyingly incompatible browsers.
