This Little wrestling gem for SNES is only seconded to Super Fire Pro wrestling Premium X, but in its own way is in a class by its self.  Jikkyou  is the first and only (as far as I know) SNES game that has REAL TIME PLAY BY PLAY similar to that of NHL98 by EA Sport.   Jikkyou's modes of Play are a VS, League, Tourney Modes and  a Story mode in witch you have to Battle your way through four Different leagues to unit the Wrestling Tiles.  Some others features include  Three man Tag matches, Shoot fighting matches, and Electrified Barb Wire Match.

The Bottom Line

Good: Lots of interesting features and Modes of Play.  The play by play is really different and the Story mode is really COOL. Ability to create a wrestler. Graphics and animation are really good, and there are lots of moves at your disposal.  All and All a really great game!!!!!

Bad: The game is TOTALLY in japanese so the Story mode is trial and Error.  You can ONLY create a wrestler in the story mode and you have to complete the story mode before your wrestler can be saved.

Ugly: Really the Fact that the game is in Japanese, this makes the Story mode  really hit and miss. While I was playing often I got the feeling of "what is going on"

My only other complaint is the Tag team matches, there is no interaction between you and you Tag partner, there is no double teaming no SAVES....it seems your tag partner serves  no other purpose than to take over when you get tired.
