Most of what I've done is pretty useless and boring, but here are some things that you might find to be slightly less than extremely boring.
Name | Description | Platform | Date |
---|---|---|---|
VocPlay | Two-in-one: plays VOC files on your speaker; plays SB samples using DMA; | DOS | June 1993 |
Protected Mode Example | Just a silly little thing demonstrating basic handling of 386 protected mode, task switching, interrupt reflection to real mode and the like. Not very interesting unless you're thinking about writing an EMM386 clone. | DOS | November 1993 |
PlayMIDI | Plays MIDI files on your Adlib-compatible sound card. | DOS | Feb 1995 |
X Render | Simple 3D renderer. Objects and worlds are written in a simple languages and rendered on the fly. The system is not very sophisticated. | Linux, X11 | 1996 |
Z Render | Something similiar to X Render, except that it was going to be a 3D game. Nothing came of it, but it shows nice rendering/world modelling tricks. | DOS | 1996 |
Game 3D | Along the lines of the previous 2 packages. There is also a working executable. | Linux, SVGAlib | 1996 |
