Here are some pictures from an expedition on the Schwarzbach river in
Austria - probably the craziest I ever did. I should point out that we
did this before jumping these waterfalls was forbidden by the Austrian
Government.
This picture of me jumping the 9 meter Schwarzbach waterfall in Austria
was taken on August 28th, 1988. On the bottom-left corner you can see the
paddle of my friend Jörg Ipfelkofer, ready to pull me out of trouble
if needed. Unfortunately, after leaving Germany, I havn't heard much of
my firiends at Faltboot Club Bamberg, but I'm sure thei're doing some even
crazier things right now somewhare in the Bavarian mountains.
This is the second waterfall on the Schwarzbach. I knew I would get
a picture of this, so I tried to smile...
