Free Perl Utilities

These utilities aimed to help Oracle DBAs and are simple and rough Perl programs by me. Please download and use them for free. They have been written when I was in need of tools like these. And I provide them to everybody who also need them as is. You can use, change and redistribute them but not even try to blame me for any kind of damage caused by these programs.

DBF2ORACLE & ORACLE2DBF utilities are proven to run under both Windows95 and Unix.

DBF2ORACLE

DBF (dBase, FoxPro, etc.) to Oracle converter. Can create an SQL-script.

ORACLE2DBF

Also a DBI-DBD program. Unfortunately looses precision info when stores floats. That is because DBI has no means to return Oracle table precision digits info safely. May be YOU can say me how should I do it?

Possibly could be run on most Unices and Oracles.
I use Perl 5.003, HP-UX and Oracle 7.3.2
No ORAPERL required!
Only EXP and IMP are used!
