Here are some more tools/utils I have picked up:
My Novell Section
Useful shareware, freeware, utilities, & tools for Novell Netware (and
other) networks. There seem to be so many sites providing hacking utilities for Netware,
what about all the useful shareware and utilities? I started collecting these files a few
years ago, I decided to store them on the 'net so they would always be accessible. New
files are on this front page and then moved to their own page. Please use the image menu

information. Excellent tool for cross-referencing Ethernet addresses to NetWare
users.

graphs. Displays real-time CPU utilization of the file server, real time NCP
traffic loads of the file server.
ADREM SERVER MANAGER 3.0 Latest version of Server Manager contains more than 150 improvements and has many features you can't find anywhere else. You can now easily find who is killing your network or track any statistic counter. If offers also expanded server monitoring and improved remote management over slow links (WAN, modems). Presently administrator can manage efficiently their servers through Intranet or Internet. ADREM SERVER TOOLS 2.0 Server Tools is a set of
client/server utilities for AdRem Server Manager. The package contains: Server Scheduler,

as plug-ins to Server Manager, which makes it easier for the user to change any parameters
and install, load or unload modules.
CAPTAIN NEMO V1.02 Captain Nemo is a
file manager for accessing Novell drives from a DOS or Windows environment. It does not
require any network setup or cabeling. Simply add the drive containing the Novell volume
to a DOS or Windows machine, reboot, and start Nemo. The Novell file system will be
mounted automatically and you can copy files between the Novell partition and the
DOS/Windows partition. Captain Nemo looks like and is as easy to use as a DOS based file
manager, but allows you to access all the data on a Novell drive. Special requirements:

INTRAFORMS IntraForms glues Novell Directory
Services (NDS), Applications, and the Internet together into a web-based Corporate Yellow
Pages. Don't just login to NDS when you can use it to access newsgroups, display web
pages, download files, run programs, and send e-mail too (alpha testers wanted)!
MOD Message Of Day (a utility for Netware
4.X) This program shows a message on choosen date and only if it is the user's first login
that day.
NCONSOLE NConsole Server Monitoring & Trends
Analysis What is the Performance Level of your Server? Has it changed recently? In the
last year? Want to be able to identify bottlenecks? Measure changes in Server Load? Track
Trends? Track activity/thresholds? Receive alerts? (NCAlert opt.) Export live/trend data

NETTEST
NetTest was first programmed due to the lack of availability of configurable test programs
concerning I/O in networks. NetTest is a DOS program that can be used to test the
following components of Novell Networks or ANY other networking environment: cabling,
NICs, disk drives, disk controllers, bus-systems, and others.
NODEINFO NodeInfo Server Connection Management
Want to know which Users are Logged In? What they are doing? What files they are
accessing? Who has a specific file open? Need to Close Files / Clear Locks WITHOUT killing
connections? Send messages to Users? Group Members? Node IDs? Log them out? Isolate which
Users are creating the greatest load on the Server? Track Logins/Logouts? Node IDs? Disk
used? Server activity? And much more .
OIMPORT NW4.x, utility to create objects of any
class: groups, profiles, orgnizational units and more. It accepts ascii streamin file as a

RESETID is a client-sever application that allows
users without "admin" rights to reset passwords and intruder lockouts. ResetID
is the best (and safest way) to let Help Desk staff reset user account passwords and
intruder lockouts without granting them full access to your entire Netware tree. The trial
edition of ResetID will reset one user account before unloading at the file server. Works
with Netware 4 or 5. Requires WinNT/Win98/Win95 for the client front-end. The trial

ATTACH.ZIP Replaces Novell's Attach
Utility. Works with connections over 250
BESTNET.ZIP Old utility for NETX and
VLM users. BestNet is used to automatically select the best network shell to load. It
looks at the DOS Version, XMS, EMS, and if LOADHI exists on the path and sets and
environment variable to the best shell to load. It also sets and environment variable to
the first network drive letter.
BINDDUMP.ZIP BindDump is a bindery
dumping utility. It shows everything that's in the bindery that the user is allowed to
access. If you want to know what kind of junk those 30 day trial utilities are leaving
behind then this is the utility you're looking for. With MarxMenu you can delete or alter
these objects and property. Find it with BindDump, clean it up with MarxMenu. BindDump is
a diagnostic tool. Works with NDS in that it lets you see the NDS from a bindery
perspective. Useful for setting bindery context commands.
BINDEZ.ZIP BindEZ lets you save
bindery information to a INI type text file or load the bindery from an INI type text
file. This is handy when merging binderies from several servers or making mass changes to
the bindery. It can also be used as a backup tool for your bindery information. Creates
users, groups, and queues.
D.ZIP Marc Perkel's Sweet little directory
program. Lists directories in sorted columns. Netware aware. From Computer Tyme
FIXPATH.ZIP FixPath is a utility that
checks all your directories in you Path to see if they are still accessable. Any directory
that doesn't exist is removed from the path. This is handy for cleaning up the path after
Novell LOGOUT. From Computer Tyme
FREE.ZIP FREE is like a super CHKVOL
utility. Shows the same info but it's more readable. It also shows free directory slots on
Netware 2 servers. FREE also shows free memory, environment space, ems, and extended
memory. One of those "Got to Have It" utilities.
LONGSAVE.ZIP LongSave is used to save
the list of long file names and short names to a comma delimited ascii text file. The
short names can then be backed up or zipped or copied with utilities that are not long
file name aware. After the files are transfered LongSave can then use the ascii file to
restore the original long file names. This utility can save and restore long names and can
be used with old utilities that are not long name aware. Works with Netware.
MAILCOPY.ZIP Copies files in MAIL
directories between file servers by looking up the usernames on both servers. This is used
to migrate the Novell mail directories during an upgrade.
MARXMENU World's most powerful Menu
System. MarxMenu is a 0k DOS network menu system and job control language now with over
1000 commands. Runs under Windows 95/95 and NT. MarxMenu can launch windows applications.
The most powerful network menu and Netware scripting language that exists. Several of the
utilities listed here are written in MarxMenu. These include IniTyme, IniDif, BatZap,
BindEZ, TrustEZ, WhoHas, and Smite to name a few.
NETWORK SURVIVAL KIT Download it all in one file! The Computer Tyme Network Survival
Kit is a comprehensive utility package for managing large Novell networks. Included is all
of the utilities listed below including MarxMenu, many sample menus, login control, file
managers, TSR management, user utilities, time syncronization device drivers, editors, and
just a bunch of good useful stuff.
NOVSYNC.ZIP NOVSYNC.SYS is a small
device driver (500 bytes) that keeps the workstation clocks in sync with the server. It
prevents users tampering with the time and it keeps all clocks accurate within 1 second of
the server. It eliminates clock drift and midnight rollover problems. If you change the
server clock the workstations are updated as well. This program has Y2K features to
protect your workstation from netware time crashes in case Novell doesn't get their Y2K
problems solved. It also prevents your users from tampering with the clock on their
workstations. Windows 95/98 compatible.
SMITE.ZIP A utility to drop users,
groups or connections from the network. It's handy when someone has a file locked and you
need access to it. Usage: SMITE The pick option allows you to mark connections from a list
to drop.
TRUSTEZ.ZIP TrustEZ allows you to save
the directory trustee information to a text file so it can be restored later. Or you can
use it to modify trustee information if you are making changes to your directory or volume
structure. This comes in handy if you are changing your directory structure or merging
servers. It can also be used to backup your trustee information to a text file or it can
be useful as a reporting tool.
USERLIST.ZIP Replaces Novell's UserList
Utility. Works with connections over 250.
WHOGOWA.ZIP Who Got What Files Open
utility. Lets you list users and what files they have open. See who's messing around.
USAGE: WHOGOWA user,group,connection From Computer
Tyme
WHOHAS.ZIP WhoHas lets you know who
has a file open on a Netware server. Shows name, connection, and login time. It also lets
you send a message to all users with a file open or drop the connections of users of a
file. This WhoHas supports WildCard! USAGE: WHOHAS N:MARXMENU.*
XMETER.ZIP XMeter is a software
metering program for DOS utilities running with NetWare. This programs meters using
semaphores. It's a 0k metering program that doesn't require an NLM or any memory or
resources to run. It's small, cheap, and just works. No fancy features.

BinDump
Bindez Marc Perkel This utility will dump the contents of the NetWare bindery to a file in INI format or set the bindery from an INI text file.
ChkNull
ChkNull GiGA BiTES Does some password routing.

Master Jay Hackney A memory resident program that runs on the node you wish to control.
