This helped a lot, especially for the end-block sizing.
Bending Padauk is relatively easy but it also warps unless held in form while drying.

This wood comes up green wherever the glue or water touches it.

Here's the pegbox. Bottom view with the lower extention block being attached.
This block gives the illusion that the sides extend forward under the pegbox.

Ebony is the visible floor of the pegbox.
