Written by a British author this space faring-comedy will have you laughing out loud! Adams continues his saga of time-traveling adventures with Arthur and Ford stranded on prehistoric Earth. Hold on to your hats in this one - the weirdness level goes up a few notches. From cricket matches, squirrel-skin satchels, and galactic prophesies this story has a little of everything. Three stars.

This is an amazing story about a group of rabbits that flee their warren before it gets destroyed by men. The rabbits struggle for survival is the essence of this tale as they try again and again to build a new warren. Every step along the way they encounter new threats and challenges. The story draws you in but the connection with the rabbits and their struggles clings to you long after you’ve read the last word.

The first book of an enormous series (17+ books) that takes place in Xanth, a magical kingdom that has an unusual resemblance to Florida. Our hero, Bink, has a dilema, while everyone born in Xanth has some kind of magical ability, Bink seems to have none. This is real trouble, Xanthians without a magical talent are banished to the non-magical world of Mundania. But like all appropriate heros Bink has a plan, he figures he'll go see Good Magician Humphrey, the Magician of Information, and get some advice. Humphrey's advice: "Find a spell for a chameleon." What does this mean, nobody knows.But Bink travels Xanth looking for the spell and some glimmer of hope. Along the way Anthony douses us in cheesy puns and keeps us on our toes with intresting surprises. It's a typical boy-meets-girl, but Piers Anthony is one of the most remarkable writers of our time and "Spell" is really well done.

We catch up with Bink in this second installment of the Xanth series. His special talent has been recognized by the new king and is sent on a quest to find the source of all magic in Xanth. Bink's journeys take him across the kingdom where he comes across the deadly siren, the Region of Madness and is eventually led to the depths of the Xanth underworld where he meets the demon (X/AN)th. And as expected, "Source of Magic" differs little from the other Xanth novels, it is a fine example of Piers Anthony fantasy, and it's loaded to the gills with puns.
