Education

Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering*) with First Class Honours at University of New South Wales, Australia, 1992 to 1995.

Thesis: GPIB Interface Design for Data Acquisition
1. Designed and implemented a two-layer compact printed circuit board to acquire eight analog data sources simultaneously.
2. Wrote a C++ application to provide an Intel-architecture PC interface to receive and interprete converted analog-to-digital data from the PCB.
3. Wrote a 250-page thesis. This solution has practical applications in the medical industry.
4. Award: Winner of the 1991 Commonwealth Bank Essay Competition in New South Wales, Australia

* The Computer Engineering degree demands the highest tertiary entry score (96.85%, or top 3.15%) among ALL computer-related degree courses offered by universities throughout the state of New South Wales in 1991, the year I applied for entry. It is Australia's leading university.
