Jersey and the Shore!
The first things that come to mind...
real pizza, real subs, real Chinese food, Italian ice, salt water taffy,
the boardwalk, full service gas stations, traffic circles, and the infamous bennies.
The story...
I grew up in Jersey, moved away, and now I am back.
New Jersey is in the middle of everything. From where I
live...
the beach is a 2 min walk, NY is < 2 hours, Philadelphia < 2 hours,
PA
skiing is 2 hours, Boston is 4 hours, and D.C. is 4 hours.
Within just
over a month I have visited all these places.
What else could you
ask for?

Cool band. They play heavy music and bring a large crowd.
Big Orange Cone
Fun band. They have an avid following (lots of groupies).
Dog Voices
Happy Hour at the Shell!! Who let the...
Smack Daddy
This band is bad news, but they have a cool web site.
Love Seed Mama Jump
Good if you can catch them while they're in town.
Love Stone
The coolest thing about this band is they put pictures of the audience on their site.
My bud Hoss is in one of them.
