Ok now This is going to be a big story!! So get urself a Cup
of Koffi and enjoy ...

Am basically a guy hoo loves adventure and all
beings on planet earth in particular Homo Sapiens
of the opposite sex ;-) Am from Haryana(a state
in Northern India) and was born in Kurukshetra(a
district in Haryana. Famous for the battle of
Mahabharata, the great Indian Epic). My Dad's a
Hindu and my Mommy is half hindu, half punjabi.
So that makes me 75% Hindu and 25% punjabi :)

My parents r the greatest one cud possibly have.
They have given me all the warmth that i cud
dream of. They have taught me more than all the
books combined.

My Dad's in the Indian Navy and I was thus lucky
to have seen all the coastal areas of India. V
have stayed in almost all the Coastal States of
India. And all my education also has been there.
Bombay(its in the west though), Cochin, Vizag
and Madras was where I spent my childhood and
adolescent years.
I firmly believe that a persons character,
behaviour and his/her thoughts are moulded/built
by the environment around him/her. And i thus
will now bore u with the some descriptions about
the places where i've spent my life at.

Bombay(Its called Mumbai now, but i still like
it as Bombay) was fun.A place where everybody is
in a hurry. Its a cool place though. The best
thing about it is BEST, the bus service, which
is a class apart and is beyond comparison to any
other bus service in the whole of India. And of
course the beaches. But the beaches r a bit dirty.
The people here r very good and are full of
spirit. Every Indian festival is celebrated in
this city with equal fervour and spirit. This
place is be an excellent example of peace and
communal harmony. This is the place which taught
me about religions. It taught me that the only
religion on planet earth is Humanity.

Cochin is a place abundant in natural beauty.
The very name conjures up images of
lush green trees and plants in my mind. 5 of my
MOST exciting childhood years were spent here.
I still cherish fond memories of this beautiful
place and I always dream of turning back into a
kid(not that am not already am) and returning
back to this heavens abode. Most of my time here
was spent either in school or outside amongst
trees with other kiddy friends. I was seldom at
home. The outside was so much goooooood !!
There's a festival of flowers called pookalum
(Malayalee word for festival of flowers) during
which v were required to collect flowers of all
sorts for a competetion in the school. And it
was really fun plucking beautiful flowers from
here and there. And there were the coconut trees
which v used to climb and pluch coconuts from.
I remember all those bruises which i used to get
on my tender thighs and arms whilst scampering
up and down those tall trees. But i never
bothered as the coconuts were too tempting.
and the thrill of climbing up the tree was
exciting. Then v used to smash those nuts and
drink the cool n natural coco drink. The cream
within the nuts was of course not missed !!
There were other trees which i luved to climb
too such as Mango, Guava, Jamun etc. Sometimes
v used stones to bring down the fruits
automatically if climbing was difficult.And
this excersise sharpened my shooting skills :)
Then there was the fishing. V used to make bow
and arrows using the cycle wheel spokes for
hunting fishes. The cat fish which swims on the
surface of the water was an easy prey. I myself
don't eat fish, but i enjoyed the thrill of
hunting them and donating them to my friend who
used to relish cat-fish meals. Then there was
this junkyard which had the wrecks of about 5
planes. one helicopter and others warplanes. And
since nobody was ever watching them v used to
freak out amongst the ruins searching for
magnets in these mammoth mchines. I can go on
and on and on , but i'll spare u :)

Vizag which is short for Vishakhapatnam is a
lovely coastal town/city in Andhra Pradesh. Well
I cannot say the same things which i did for
Cochin above, but this place certainly deserves
plenty of praise. But will still remember it as
a hot place full of empty barren spaces,
interspersed with industrial structures. There's
a big harbour over here where ships r
built/repaired. It's called the Hindustan
Shipyard. Maybe cos i was no longer a small kid
that i don't remember it being a fun place. I
spent 5 years here. 1 year completing the final
school standard(12th) and the remaining 4 years
slogging completing my engineering graduation
course. The beaches here r cool. V used to have
college parties and my Dad's Navy parties on the
luvly beaches here. It was fun.

Well Madras is an ok city. I spent 1.5 years
here doing my PG in the IIT-M campus. And i
guess it was easily the coolest place in the
whole of madras. There is one beach called the
Marina beach over here. And it is not so clean
as the other beaches. Maybe the maintenance
isn't that good. Or maybe I have grown up and
am speaking like elders. always critisizing :)

All in all I've grown up to be an adventure
luving guy, for whom anything normal is
abnormal. I like doing things my own way, and
I hate it when i c people blindly following
something without being totally convinced
about something.
