Grey Olltwit's Subscription Free UK Internet Access
Available to UK (United Kingdom), PC Windows 95/98 users only (see below for MAC) this is subscription free Internet Access. This is just like all the other free Internet Access packages you can get but mine does not alter how your browser looks, place any adverts, require you to register, sign up, log on or force you to view any website first. Bit refreshing don't you think.
I could have said 100% FREE Internet Access like the others do, but as you pay for the cost of the phone call while you are surfing the net, I don't believe that statement is 100% true, they are just subscription free like mine i.e. you don't pay any monthly/yearly/weekly charges on top of your phone bill.
All installing my service does is create an extra connection setting and does not interfere with any existing connections you may have. The connection is via a local call 0845 number i.e. the calls are charged on your phone bill at a local rate. This works out currently to about 1p a minute off peak (after 6.p.m. and all weekend) and about 4p per minute at peak rate. If you add the number (0845 6091366) to "Friends and Family" or equivalent, it's even cheaper.
