C/C++ Programming

CORBA Servers and Clients

Very Simple Server and Client. They do nothing useful just simulate connection to remote Database Object.
"Data Retriever" - simple CORBA Object that queries DBMS through ODBC. Theere is C++ Server, Java and C++ Clients in archive. The Server receives Data from Client and stores them into DataBase or retrieves Data from Database and sends them to Client.

DataBase Applications

Business Trips Control System Win32 version. It's Client/Server application. Client was written in MFC under Visual C++. Client communicated through ODBC with Oracle DBMS. Server side logic was coded in PL/SQL.
Btrieve DOS Utilities and Windows Application (OWL version) were written in C++. Windows Application used DPMI to call DOS Requester or Record Manager from Windows DLL. DOS Utilities used C++ Classes to wrap Btrieve interrupt interface.
Btrieve Windows Application (MFC version) The previous application was rewritten in Visual C++. It used DPMI to call DOS Requester or Record Manager from Windows DLL.

OLE/COM related Applications

MediaViewer - Media Browser. It uses Automation to show Web Pages witth help of Internet Explorer. It also uses couple of OCX controls.
ATLButton OCX control. This is a 3-state Image Buttom from Visual C++ OLE examples. It's used in MediaViewer Application.
Polygon ActiveX control. The Simple ActiveX control from ActiveX tutorial. It can be used in Web Pages.

Prolog versions

Prolog Interpreter (comand line version) - simple application written in C. It reads, interprets and executes prolog programs. Programs must be agreed to DEC10 notation with Lists extentions. This application don't use platform depended code and may be compiled with any ANSI C compiler. The name of file with program for execution must be entered as command line argument.
Prolog Interpreter for Windows (WinAPI version) - windowed application with MDI interface and StatusBar. This program was developed for Win16 API.
Prolog Interpreter for Windows (MFC version) - application with GUI. This program was developed with using MFC Library under MS Visual C++.
Prolog Interpreter for Windows (OWL version) - application with GUI. This program was developed with using OWL Library under Borlan C++.
Prolog Interpreter for OS/2 (Open Class version) - OS/2 GUI application. It was developed with using VisualAge for C++ for OS/2 and Open Class Library..

Win16 Applications

"Dancing Lines" is a Windows Screen Saver that is based on Borland's example.
Clock with Bell. Funny clock that bells every houre. It's based on WinSDK sample.

Unix Applications

Samples of Socket Programming There are several templates of TCP/UDP Socket Severs and Clients for Unix platform in this archive.
