You came to me for solace
as your world came crashing down.
Gladly, I gave it to you.
You came to me for pleasure
when you feard there was none around.
Gleefully, I gave it to you.
You came to me in a whirlwind
while the hours made days as they wound.
Gloriously, I was amazed by you.
I came to you for adventure
even while my fears did abound.
Patiently, you quieted them.
I came to you with heart guarded
but opened the cage with a bound.
Wondrously, our hearts met.
I came to you with eyes open
hoping might be wouldn?t be found.
Sadly, you discovered the way.
I gave too much of my love
quite by accident, and in dismay.
Woefully, I fear you?ll not stay.
