PURE SERENITY
This
spiritual awakening
I’m experiencing
Didn’t happen overnight.
Directions had been given
I paid attention to
With all my might!
Years of experiences
of trial & error
It took for me
To get it ‘just right’!
For it’s been a
Long & suffering process!
The wise all know
There be no potions
To get it ‘just right’!
Fasting from all your
Hopes & dreams & desires
Will allow one
To reach higher
In the most natural way.
But please remember--
When you think you
Have all the answers,
Circumstance will warrant
Your feelings indeed!
When circumstance shows you
That gentle, warm & patient
Human you’re being
This you feel & hear
In a calmness abound,
Within is called
“Pure Serenity.”
