"Who Owns This Joint?"

About "Me"!

Well, I guess maybe someone out there might be interested in who I am, huh? So here goes! I've been an artist and poet since I was quite young (well, pre-teen anyway!) And I have changed styles and grown a lot over the years. (I am now thirty-six and I can legally say that for another...well...almost a month!) I am now even attempting to write a fantasy/adventure novel (from whence the name "Morcael" comes) that I hope will one day be a SMASHING! success!

This is a picture of my cat Phaiz (aptly named, for NOTHING phazes him!) I have spoiled him since he was three days old (I tried staying away from my daughter's cat's brood because I did not want to be owned by another cat! Needless to say, I failed miserably!) and now he is just one big baby!

I am an animal fanatic (can't help it it's in my blood! Probably from past lives I've led as them!) I have a four year old African Grey Parrot, KoKoa and a young (less than a year) Senigal Parrot named Jade. Both of these are talkers and my Grey has a distinct liking for the default beep of my computer (especially when I am having difficulties with it!) She also enjoys whistling the "Andy Griffith" tune! (I DID NOT teach her that, I swear! She knew it when I got her!)

I also have an AKC registered Boston Terrier "mutt" called Emy. And Scappy, who is a breed I affectionately call "Terdle" (half Terrier, half poddle!) They are both very loving animals and I'd be lost without them!

The reason I decided to open this virtual gallery was to give some of us starving artists a chance to "show our stuff" to the world! A chance some of us may otherwise never have (although I have shown some of my works, both "paintings" and poems, at the local community college art shows on occasion.)
