MADRID MADRID MADRID |
Madrid as a city has many places where skaters hang around, but every streeter has to go to Colon Square, and all round skaters visit Puerta de Hierro Skatepark which is public. In the nearby Madrid there are many places with skateable street spots and towns with free skateparks, most of them built with concrete. Madrid laws are protecting pedestrians by prohibiting to skate faster than them, but does not specify the speed of pedestrians, so it's legal when no one is around to be compared to. Also skating at the motor vehicles' zones is forbidden (many rollers had accidents with cars involved). One thing you must remember: DO NOT GIVE YOUR SKATEBOARD TO A POLICE (WO)MAN , would not be the first time of police-robbery, instead of that, stay with your skate and even let them arrest you, be kind & you'll not have problems. |
