This is a partial list of commands that one can use in the classroom.  They are the most common ones that I have found in Korea.  As with any command in any language, there may be more than one way to give the command.  Furthermore, individual teachers will have preferences for certain ways of giving commands.  In addition, be careful!  Tone and inflection have much to do with the politeness of the command.  The phrase "Button up!" said in a harsh tone and inflection on "button" will not have the same meaning as "Button your lip" said in a soft tone and inflection on "lip" with the word "please" attached before or after the phrase. I would recommend using, "Quiet please!" While we are on the subject, remember to use "please" with all of these commands. As well, a name, class, students, or other words may be added to the beginning or end to designate whom you want to perform the action. Finally, use only one word of a set connected by slashes--window/door.
