Words To A Heart
My heart soared inside me and felt all bounds removed.
Each conversation did my heart good, each word spoken felt sincere.
My faith in myself was lifted by your spoken faith in me
til I heard the words but nothing more.
The words were words, sounds made but never felt.
There was nothing to feel.
Promises I thought were made, were only empty words.
Life is so cruel to you, you cried.
Life has no meaning, you cried.
Life is better gone, you cried.
Just more empty words,
a promise I heard that was not kept.
Pain is Forever
Running, running, into the past to embrace the hurt.
Sliding into the darkness, feel the pain.
Remembering what was, remembering the feeling.
Into the mind of ‘what never was’
into the rehelm of ‘never was’
into the land of ‘never to be’
into the past, full of painful memories.
Enough pain will cancel the pleasure
leaving hurtful memories.
Drawn to the past, to the hurt and pain,
pleasure is gone.
Gripped in sharp claws, every night I bleed anew.
A life time alone is better than a year of so called love.
Pleasure is fleeting, pain lasts forever.
Wounds open again, though nothing seems to slash them.
Memories last.
Sand
The wind rushes through my soul,
the sands of time build inside me
in an attempt to fill the empty place.
Hollow inside, only fear to fill me.
Emptyness and craters on the inside -
the moon I love to watch is as desolate as I feel.
