Wesleyville is about five miles south of Newtown, and is the geographical centre of the new municipality called
" NewWesValley". Many famous sea captains such as the Keans, Winsors and Blackwoods came from this area.
Much of the work of artist David Blackwood portrays the history and traditions of this area..
