Come in, the door is always open.

So glad you could stop by for a visit. My name is Linda. I have lived in the same town in Ohio all my life. I met my wonderful husband Richard, which by the way is a twin, on a blind date arranged by my best friend. She married his twin brother. *S* We have three children. Randy our son lives in South Carolina and is a fireman. He is a grandpa now making us Great Grandparents. Cheryl and Angela are our daughters. They are mentally retarded and live at home with us. Cheryl had breast cancer and had to have her breast removed in 1996. She is still in remission and doing fine. One of Angela's favorite things is to crochet. She has made some beautiful things.

I lost both of my parents in the last 2 years. They were the greatest parents anyone could ever have. My Father passed away March 1997 and Mother passed away July 1998. I miss them very much. There will always be an empty spot in my heart.
I also have a brother, Lynn. He and his wife LuJean have one son Lynn II.

I worked as a nursing assistant until I injured my back. I really loved my work and it was hard for me to give it up. I also have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrom) with bleeding stomach ulcers.

My hobbies include writing poetry, collecting depression glass, few angels, my computer, ham radio, and garage sales.
I enjoy Christian music, music from the 50's and early 60's and some country western.

One of my favorite things is Summer and Fall. They are so beautiful with all the vibrant colors. When I look around I know God is the only one that could create such beauty.
