This is the best international style office building in the city, and for decades the largest building on the downtown skyline. Twelve floors rise straight up from the View St frontage forming a square tower sitting on a two floor podium with a sunken retail complex. The double height elevator shaft had a CIBC logo pasted on to it on all four sides. Designed by the same architects who designed the Marine Building in Vancouver.
