Melting
(a tale of transcendence)

Once there was a snowman
who lived all at the North Pole.
All he knew was coldness and hardness
as it was a brittle world.

But there were tales
of a strange world
where Life was Everywhere.
It even sprung up from the ground.
This was towards the Center,
where there was something called Warmth.

So he traveled in the only direction possible,
for every direction led South.
He walked and walked
until slowly the landscape
began to change and transform.
He noticed new and interesting things
he had never before imagined.

The mysterious, yellow disc in the sky
that used to come and go for such long durations
began to increase it's frequency of coming and going,
and the power of it's rays intensified.

This seemed to effect everything,
including himself.

The cold, brittle ground began to soften,
as he himself did too...

He began to feel lighter and lighter
as his cold, hard form began to melt
and becoming absorbed
into the life sustaining ground.

Now he knew that he was very different
from what he had always thought
about himself before...

And he become one
with a powerful stream
that carries him further and further
toward the Center
until eventually he is released
into the Ocean
 of his very
Essence.
