Life
Goes On

I turn my head on those summer days.
You were stronger for me
than you were for yourself.

But like snow come spring
you melted away.

Now it's raining cats and dogs
through all the smog
and it seems like I'm headed
in a thousand directions.

Can you tell me
what's it mean anyway?

The places that I've been
are echoes in the wind...

But Life goes on.

Early winter sunset
and the darkness settles in.
Time is but illusion
tomorrow just a lie
bred to cause confusion
the needle in the eye.

Faces come and faces go
changing in the mist.
No matter what I find
it must be left behind.

So don't say you will
when you know you won't.
The only sane thing to know
is what you don't.

A spark become a flame
I'm not the same anymore
