Poems for the Soul

Poems were made to touch ones heart. Often times, we see ourselves as a part of each verse& of each stanza we read.

Poems reflect the kind of persons we are. It is the very mirror to our whole being. It showsus who we really are.

Poems are means of interpreting our emotions. It is a channel wherein one's thoughts flowscontinuously, towards the feelings of others.

Poems are very deep, it is only when you go beyond the words, that you will be able to seethe hidden secrets that lies within it.

somewhere i havenever travelled by: e.e. cummings

somewhere i have never travelled,gladly beyond

any experience,your eyes have their silence:

in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me,

or which i cannot touch because they are too near

your slightest look easily will unclose me

though i have closedmyself as fingers,

you open always petal by petal myself as Spring opens

(touching skilfully,mysteriously)her first rose

or if your wish be to close me,i and

my life will shut very beautifully,suddenly,

as when the heart of this flower imagines

the snow carefully everywhere descending;

nothing which we are to perceive inthis world equals
