I am happy I found you



I never explored because outside there was nothing to see.
I was made to believe that is what life should be.
There were walls, high walls around me.
I accepted it but it was sure sad and lonely.

Then I found you, gave me sunshine and laughter.
For every question I have, you have an answer.
When I am worried, you tell me it will be better.
I feel so happy when we spend time together.

You stumbled into the youth in me that is deep inside.
You saw the person that I should be but I used to hide.
You gave me ideas on what is on the other side.
In the new me I discovered, you are my guide.

Now that I found you, I want to lose you never.
Maybe this romance I am feeling, I will save for later.
A true friend is more permanent than a lover.
A friendship, if it is true, lasts forever.
