Miami Children's Dance Ensemble is the active performing company of The Dance Space. The ensemble has been performing in South Fl as well as abroad since 1992. It is driving creative force that keeps this young company at the edge of comfort, always pioneering and exploring the non-limitations of young dancers. The company's vocabulary of movement ranges from athletic virtuoso contact work to the subtle and poignant gesturing of "dance poetry." The dancer's ages range from 8-17 years. They have been accepted into the company by class evaluation, and/or audition. An understudy program is available as well as open classes.
