I have enjoyed working with all types of artistic mediums for the majority of my life.  Some people are blessed to have a skill or talent that brings a sense of purpose and satisfaction to their lives.  I've found that working with clay gives me that satisfaction.  I am a native of VA.  After high school I attended Hampton University where I began my studies in architecture, found my true love of ceramics, and completed with my degree in art.  Since then I have been an educator in a Maryland school system.
I have taught a variety of art and computer courses.  Needless to say, ceramics has been my favorite.  In addition to my tenure in the school system, I continue to conduct a series of art workshops and seminars.  I have experimented with a number of different building and firing techniques, but have not adopted a particular style.  It's my intention to expose myself to a variety of techniques in an effort to improve upon my skills.  I have a growing list of exhibits, both solo and groups.  My work is all original and I also do custom pieces.  Although I am not wedded to a particular firing technique, I am fond of the raku firing method.  As I continue to build this site please check back to see new images and information.  Thank you.
