| My name is Michael Krakow. I'm
originally from Milwaukee Wisconsin, where I
studied art and sculpture at several different schools. I then moved
to San Francisco California and then Costa Rica.
I started producing sculpture a long time ago, but only started designing my pieces on the computer around 15 years ago. What attracted me to the computer was the idea of being able to see the sculpture in the round almost immediately, and long before a commitment to any type of production. I use "Lightwave" as my 3-D modeling program to design the pieces directly in the computer. I can also use this program for producing animations of my work for simple viewing in the round. |
