The White House

The exotic Cambodian Buddhist Temple is the largest and grandest of its kind outside Cambodia. The Temple is used for funeral and memorial services and for religious festivals. Five monks live in an adjacent house to serve the temple and the needs of the Cambodian Buddhist community. Funds to construct the $1.7 millions temple were raised locally and nationally. The Temple is a great source of pride for members of the Cambodian community, many of whom arrived in the United State in the past 20 years as refugees. They see it as a symble of the endurance of their ancient culture in modern America.
