Want to see what we really look like?

Here I've got some newly-scanned photos of some of the people featured in this page. Oddly, some of them came out normal-size and some of them came out huge-ass, but I just don't feel like trying to resize them right now, so y'all will just have to deal. And let me say a big special thank-you to Rachelle for letting me use her scanner! Woohoo, give it up for RACHELLE!!!!!!!!!!

But let's get back to business. This is me.

That is, me playing in a souvenir shop in Toledo, Spain, sometime in the fall of 1999. My hair is slightly different now, but oh well. (There can be only one.)

And here we are at the Winter Ball, December 1997, long, long ago. That's this shindig sponsored by the good ol' Honors College, where everyone puts on formal clothes but continues to act just as rowdy and immature as usual. (I personally spent a good deal of the time laying in the middle of the dance floor.)

That's my illustrious once-and-future roommate Jen on the left, wearing what her Erie friends call "the whore dress." Or something like that. And there's me in the middle, and Sara on the right, looking smashing in a complete outfit borrowed from Dorryann, my dear next-door neighbor.

This picture is from the trip I took to Morocco with my friend Michelle.

She's the one in the spiffy red scarf. I'm the other female, and in between us is Abdul, the guy we let guide us because he seemed to be a pretty nice guy -- and it was better to have one easonably nice guide than to be harrassed all day by all the irritating ones.

This is my ex-roommate Jen, José Sánchez, and me, going out for coffee after our civ final.

Yes -- I have had two different roommates Jen. To avoid confusion I usuall call them my ex-roommate and my once-and-future roommate, or even "Jen-whose-feet-stink" (my roommate Jen in Spain) and "Jen-whose-feet-do-not-stink" (the one at IUP). The Jen in this picture is the owner of the stinky feet, José is the civ professor quoted throught this web page, and I'm, well, me.

This one was taken in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, while I was working in Yellowstone National Park. (I was just in housekeeping in a hotel, but it was fun.)

This is Starla and me, the evening we got our tattoos -- it was both of our second. You may not be able to see, but it's a little spirit bear. Hers is blue, mine is red. And, for the record, she was much more of a wuss than I was. Hee hee.

And, finally, these are the kids I worked with all year -- the kids in the English class in whic I was a teacher's assistant. They are just absolutely awesome.

My favorite's Antonio, the kid in the middle of the first row.

And there you have it -- pictures of the people I know. Or knew. Or whatever. I hope you feel justified in some way for having visited this little corner of my web page.

Beam me back home, Scotty.
