                                                                                Return

A few weeks go, Ruth and I, and our friends, Liz and Morty, spent three days in Lake George, at Ray and Karen's time share cabin. It was a perfect time to go: the fall color was at its peak, the weather was great, and there were no other tourists in town; at least it seemed that way. We drove up to Fort Ticonderoga; then stopped off in a quaint little town, Bolton's Landing, for lunch. The place to visit in this area is a resort named The Sagamore. It is huge. It is on an island about 50 yards from shore. Very classy, very expensive, very beautiful. I think they get a lot of their business from conventions and corporate meetings.  we also took a two hour cruise on the lake. Sorry, our camera broke so we lost a lot of good pictures. Luckily Liz had some great pictures from the cruise boat.
The pictures below show the time share cabin, Fort Ticonderoga, and the Lake. I hope you can get an appreciation of the color.Ticond.jpg (543150 bytes)TS_RuthLiz.jpg (50928 bytes)TS_lake.jpg (63464 bytes)
