When Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit they were kicked out of Eden. That was a shame, because life was a lot easier when they were good friends with God. They had fellowship with him and they didn't have a lot of problems finding food and shelter and there was nobody that wanted to do them any harm (neither man nor beast). But after the fall, God said to Adam:
That sounds pretty harsh - but God still ensured that Adam and Eve was protected and he is still protecting people all over the world from the disasters that originates from humanitys first sin. Well all this just to say that although I like my job, sometimes it can be quite a painful toil - but then it's nice to know I am not alone and that it's perfectly normal to feel like that. I have worked in Maersk also known as the A.P. Moller group since I was 19 years old. In June 1999 I stopped working there - that's almost 14 years. I started out in Maersk Data in Copenhagen in Denmark and was there for 9 years. I then worked a few years for Maersk Travel before I joined the Maersk Company Ltd in London as their Group IT Manager. In Feb 1999 I decided (with God) that my life needed to take a new direction, so I
resigned and will start working with voluntary charity work from Sep 99. The A.P. Moller group is lead by a Senior CEO (surprise!) His name is Jes Søderberg. If you want to know more about the A.P.
