ur vending machine here at work has green bags of Skittles in them. They’re called "Sour Skittles". Though it was 8:30 in the morning when I saw them, and I hadn’t even had breakfast yet, I almost bought a bag. I’m kind of a Skittle fan. Any food that is 90-some-percent sugar has to be pretty good, right? I’ve had the traditional red bag of Skittles before, as well as the blue bag and the purple bag, but I’ve never even seen the green bag before. I think they ought to take the red bag, the blue bag, the purple bag, and the green bag and combine them to make one giant über-bag of Skittles. But maybe that’s just me….

We’re going to the mall tonight (whoopee!). We need to pick up the high chair we ordered through the catalog. I promised my wife that I’d get a haircut before the baby arrives, and since that could be any day now, I need to do so the first chance I get. Besides, it’s getting so long that the people at work are starting to call me "Mick Jagger".

I cannot have a normal conversation with anyone anymore. Even at work, the subject always turns to, "So, she have the baby yet?" "You have any names picked out?" I hate that one. I’ve already started answering that one with "I think we’re going to go with ‘Dweezil’," at least to people I know well. With some of the baby names I’ve seen lately, people may actually think I’m serious. If I really wanted to be original, I could name him "Skittles"….
