watching years I never had

they come in pairs

hands in hands

ask for Mr. Reza, Riza, or even Rysa

--I would not mind--

whether it is ok to put

a pump in front of a tank

or how to design a pressure vessel

to keep the heat of the superheated steam

 

I am patient

watch them with a smile

try to teach them

what i learnt -- if any--

during the years

I was in their shoes

but

not them

 

my colleagues always wonder

"how can you handle these stupid kids

who don't know how to calculate the outlet pressure

of a nozzle

but would take you to the bar

that sells you beer on Tuesdays

two for one"

 

i answer with a smile

"I love to go

through the years

I never had"
