Delta Place Station
The American railroad has been slowly deteriorating over the past several decades, as many of the old passenger stations with their overhanging roofs, become part of our vanishing landscape. These structures were a unique contribution to American architecture, yet their only value now seems to be as a shadowy reminder of an earlier time.
Delta Place Station, near Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, is a well preserved example of a small country station. It stands now in remembrance of a bygone era, connected by historic rails to our not so distant past. Original painting $600 or signed and numbered print $65.
