The Artist's Colony of Safed (Zefat)
I ventured into Safed in September and caught these typical shots of the narrow footpaths and colorful doors and windows in this lovely village in the foothills of Northern Israel. Safed is also a center of Jewish religious study as well as an artist's colony.
