Hi!! Your site is great!! I am intersted in quilting, although I haven't done much without help. Hope to do some quilting on my own someday. I found your site from a post on the TBI webpage. My daughter was involved in an auto accident 2/16/96 and suffered a TBI. She, too suffers short-term memory problems, but, thankfully we still have her. I agree with you: prayers can help very much. I will try to write you another message later. Thanks, again for the great site.

We enjoyed looking at your quilts - you do beautiful work. Debbie is a quilter and a survivor of a brain injury. She can still quilt for short periods, but has problems computing yardage. It's been almost 3 years post-injury and she still makes improvem nts and learns ways to work around the changes in her life. Gary and Debbie

I love your quilts, especialy the elephants walk and the one with the animals. Did you buy fabric with animals? I always love that kind of fabric but never know how to use it in a quilt. Maybe I will try it now. Succes with further quilts. Marijke

Thank you for sharing your quilts with me. I have been tossing around an idea for a quilt with a figure on it; your Madame Butterflying has inspired me to continue. If, repeat, IF, I get it done, I'll send you a picture of the result! We are not on mains ower so it has to be done with a treadle sewing machine and hand sewing. Regards, Grace.

Found you site through pfaffies newsletter. I am a new embroiderer by machine enthusiast and have been in quilting since early '80's. Also director/teacher of early childhood/kindergarten/afterschool children and have advocated for early detection of lear ing disabilities for 15 yrs. So, of course, anyinfo regarding brain function/disfunction is fascinating to me. That's two reasons you site was intriguing - but - I live in Picayune, MS +/- 3 hrs. from Jackson. It's always a small world, isn't it? Great to have found you & hope to learn more - parts of your site were down. Debbie

Just visited your site and read everything! So happy to hear that your husband has progressed so far..can relate to what you went thru..my 1st husband (divorced) had an anuerism (sp?) and cerebral hemmorage and had a portion of his brain removed 13 yrs ag ..he lived in a Veteran's Home until passing away 2 yrs. ago. We took my 3 children to see him and it was so hard for each of them. When they became old enuf, they visited on their own..there was nothing that could be done and he could not live on his own - he was very difficult for even the professionals to deal with. My heart broke for my children..I must add, my second husband was so supportive of them thru everything (he even drove to Iowa to take them when this happened and we both spent a week at th hospital with them!)..but, he is now in God's Hands and I remind them that he is better now! God had different plans for you and your family and I wish you the very best!! I so appreciate your info on 'thirds'..I have a King Size Bedspread Log Cabin top completed and am now trying to figure out just how I am going to quilt it!! Quilt in the ditch?? Quilt each log ditch?? Boy, is it a puzzle! Am leaning towards warm & natu al batting?? So many decisions!!! Any advice would be appreciated!! Sorry this has been so long, but wanted to let you know how much I appreciated visiting your site!! Hugs, Karen in Lucas, TX

Found you from the Serger list. Love your site! Great looking quilts! If only the day had 44 hours in it instead of 24! I mainly sew, did get into crafting, cross-stitch, quilting, sewing dolls, etc. Got stretched out too thin to accomplish anything, so I decided to concentrate on what I like best which is garment sewing. Will have to reconsider though - I love those quilts! Rachel
