So what's the point of this?

What's the point of this site?

(If you were cruising down Museum Road and saw "ognyen" outside, and now you're hearing "Paul," you may be wondering, "Then who's Ognyen?") I, Paul, am a member of and heartily endorse the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. (SCA). In the SCA, I am known as Ognyen Fenlander.

I graduated from Central Missouri State University (CMSU) with a Bachelor of Science (history major, geography minor) in May, 1998, and went on to get my M.A. in May of 2000. I have a strong interest in Middle Ages European history and pre-industrial U.S. history. I'm into arts and crafts from sewing to weapons building (I did all the graphics for this website, except, of course, the ad banners.). Christianity and the study of religion are even bigger parts of my life than history. For another interesting site, which combines Christianity and the Middle Ages, go to Knights for Hire.

My son, Nick is having a great time at his homepage.

Renee, my daughter, is even into this homepage stuff.

My Phoenix Family is working on our on-line newsletter, The Pyre.

Feel free to view my resume.
