The Tower Project needs your assistance. There are several ways that you can contribute: pre-event parties, construction knowledge, building supplies, performance ideas, or additional interactive projects to be placed inside The Tower compound. Please contact me on the playa if you are interested. You can contribute as little or as much time as you feel comfortable with.

1) Pre-event planning meetings:

Assist with the final design of The Tower, ensuring that the structure is as safe and weather-resistant as possible. Sign up if you have construction knowledge or ideas that you think would fit into the theme.

2) Pre-event Construction parties:

Help us assemble the pieces of The Tower during July and August. Assist in making costumes, props, flags, or parts for the Garden of Babylon. Practice for the final performance when The Tower is burned down.

The Tower will be constructed 3 days before the gates open for Burning Man 98. If you are planning on being on site early, sign up and help build and decorate The Tower! Any amount of time you can help is appreciated.

We need performers who enjoy spontaneous interaction with people. The Tower needs Guards to challenge people as they enter, and make sure they are worthy! We also need dancers and musicians (especially drummers) for the pre-burn performance on Saturday night. The performance will be brief, simple, and dramatic.

6) Healers and Readers for the Garden of Babylon:

Help make the Garden a beautiful place to hang out after participants have experienced The Tower. We need massage therapists, tarot readers, reiki practitioners, energy healers....come practice your craft in a safe, welcoming, and shady environment!
