What is a cross-link?
A cross is a totally free service, provided by the concenting authors of two different web-site, where each agree to place a link to the other person web-site. It can happen by word links, graphic links, or both.
Who can join? (or cross-link)??
Anyone with a web-site in the Greater Burlington area of Vermont is eligible to cross-link with http://BurlingtonVT.org. There is only one request that I have, I will not link sites that contain nudity or any material that likely to be found offensive, so please don't submit your site to the ring if it contains such material. I realize that this material can be artistic, when done in good taste, but the goal of this ring is to appeal to everyone, and be suitable for all people over 13 years of age.
Why bother with a Cross-link?
I believe that a cross-link helps to spread the word about your site, resulting in more hits, and provide the web surfer an easy way to be directed to more sites like the one he/she is interested in and currently visiting. You will get a link on www.BurlingtonVT.org under the appropriate cross-link page (first), then by the business/commericial category.
What do I have to do to cross-link?
All I ask are 2 simple things:
1) Add the cross-link code to your site.
2) Fill out the form below.

Does the coding have to go on the home page?
Absolutely not. In fact I recommend placing you cross-links on a links page. You do have to place the cross-link to http://BurlingtonVT.org above all one-way links.
Do I have to have you the provided banner for you the cross link?
I haven't decided on that, yet. I would prefer people do. I will probably be accepting word links as well, but the logo box, is prefered.
