Mi CorazonThis is my horse Mi Corazon, E.C. for short. He stands 15.3 hands and is a Moarab/Appy cross. The origianal owner was trying to get get color. But he's a black bay. E.C. was abused, not by the original owner, but her neighbors. That is how I got him. After being whipped while being tied, punched across the face by a grown (I use this loosely) man, and who knows what else, E.C. decided that it was time to defend himself. Every time they would go in the field, he would kick at them, when riding he would toss his head, and be totally obnoxious. I can say this that E.C. has never ever kicked, bite, reared, or bucked with me. He is a big baby. I ride him bareback with a halter. I hop on him without nothing. If he's laying in the field I lay with him. I do that with all of them. I just love that. Well my friend thought it was in E.C.'s best interest if she sold him to me. Whether my neighbors deserved it or not it was a dangerous situation for them. Before I got him, my friend use to let me ride him all I want. I also got to ride his mom Mariah. I use to get up late at night just to pet him and see him glow in the moonlight. I know that he was destined to be mine. It was a instant bond when we first met, a bond that no one can break. I guess I'm just really thankful to have gotten him. The original own's grandson wanted him real bad, but she gave me first choice. That meant so much to me. I think she understood our bond. I can never thank her enough for how she fulfilled my life by selling me Mi Corazon...My Heart.

Here are some more pictures to enjoy.

Here he is as a foal. This is one of my favorite pictures of him. The original owner gave me so many pictures. So I could share his whole lifetime.

I love the way the sky looks in this picture. People mistake E.C. for a Throughbred, Standardbred, and Saddlebred. I've been told he maybe gaited, but I don't know much about that. I do know that there is Throughbred lineage in his blood. I contacted the owner of his stud to get some background. I'll get some full body shots up soon.
