Metacreations Bryce 3D
This was my second attempt at creating a nice sunset in Bryce 3D.
A rock collection that took about an hour and a half to build.
One of my first river scenes.
Pinochio realizing he's not a real boy.
Another river scene.
A river/lake at night.
A very simple mech I built.
A close-up in a river scene.
One of my favorite mirror illusions I made in Bryce. This was made with only four checkered and mirrored infinite planes.
An airplane escaping an explosion. I didn't model the plane. I think I got it at http://avalon.viewpoint.com.
Same with this one, I didn't model the car.Ê From the same place. Light effects added in Photoshop.
A revised version of my first river scene.
This scene is comprised of:
One camera and one cylinder.
The camera is staring straight at the horizon down the textured cylinder.
A robot made entirely out of spheres.
Metacreations Raydream 5
A book I made in Raydream 5.0 for a video animation.
A render of the book in it's stand.
A screenshot of the animation made with the book.
Photoshop
"Foreign Sunrise"
This was a real landscape photo. I just added a bunch of filters.
"Abstract"
These first few pictures are my first attempts in Photoshop.
"Cobra"
This took awhile to make. I don't like it much though. Still worth posting I thought.
"Starcool"
I tried a few different filters in this image.
"Twin Star Nebula"
I tried to make a detailed nebula with this one. The two different lens flares show that the stars aren't actually similar.
"Goo"
I exhagerated the lens flares in this picture as to give it a liquid look with another filter.
"Portal"
A collage of rainbow clouds.
"Hydro Warp"
It took a while to make this one, but I like how it turned out.
"Alien Landscape"
This is the exact same image as "Hydro Warp". The only differences are the application of one filter and the fact that I didn't shade this one blue.
"Eye of the Beholder"
An image that took some detail work, this started out as something completely different.
"Nova"
A star that just turned into a White Dwarf.
"Outreach"
This was my first use of the smear tool.
"Sci-fi Sky 5"
One of my first tries at making a landscape in Photoshop.
"Landscape 5"
This is one of my favorite images. I designed the star fighters awhile before I actually put them in this image.
"Landscape 4"
I really like the texture on the rock. This was my fourth try at using my landscape method. I'll make a tutorial for this sometime.
"Blast"
This was created using a lot of lens flares and an artistic filter I believe. The end result turned out really great.
"Sci-fi Sky"
An attempt towards photoreaslistic landscapes.
"Sci-fi Sky 2"
The same image as above, but with more contrast and a different lens flare.
"Splixer"
A warp-type rift image. Actually, I can't remember how I made this image, but I like it alot.
"Sunflower"
A practice using the smear tool.
"Liquid Blast"
This is a variation on "Blast". Only a few more filters used.
"Blocks"
A new technique I discovered in Photoshop let me create this. Tutorial later.
"Nexus 3"
A variation on "Nexus". I added a shiny plasma feel to it.
"Star"
This is a very different image compared to what I usually make, but I like to use different styles.
"Rift"
This was made out of a picture I had done earlier, but it is not on this site.
"Ribbons"
This took alot of filtering to create.Ê The original was of the same image as that of "Rift".
"Green Chrome"
More practice with the smear tool.
"Nexus 4"
I don't know how I made this.
"Nexus"
Same as "Nexus 4" but with a chrome filter.
"Liquid Light"
The original image was a Bryce 3D render; I just added a chrome filter.
"Liquid Light 2"
A variation of "Liquid Light". More filters.
"Dragon's Eye (Eye of the Beholder 2)"
The smear tool put to use on "Eye of the Beholder".
"Frequency"
A device that is emitting powerful waves of some sort.
"Time Cylinder"
Inside a stationary time machine. This and "Frequency" are closely related by way of another image.
"Fire Iris"
This turned out to resemble an iris after weeks of me thinking of what to do with it.
"Explode" aka "Hyperspace"
My version of an extremely powerful explosion. I have about 20 versions of this.
"Fantasy"
This is an early step of an ongoing project. Just thought it was a good image by itself.
"Fantasy 2"
A later version of "Fantasy". More filters and more time added.
"Alien"
This was very experimental. The eyes are actually the same image used as the background in "Sci-fi Sky 2".
"Dimension Flare"
Another explosion image. The old one was so bland, so I updated it.
"Lunar Wings"
The background landscape was created in Raydream and the "wings" were added in Photoshop. I think it turned out to be a well-rounded image. Another favorite.
"Mind's Eye"
An experiment in progress.
"Aurora"
This is a great image. This could be my single favorite so far. It took alot of experimenting, and turned out fantastic.
"Zendal Blue" aka "Laser Burnout"
This is a hybrid of Zendal, Aurora, and one other image. It is similar to what one sees when a laser pointer is shined in one's eye.
"Zendal Orange" aka "Royale"
This is a hybrid of two images I have created. Neither of which is Zendal, but it was in the same file, hence the name.
"Crystaline"
This is my first image done in 2001. It's called Crystaline because of the ice texture I tried to achieve. It's similar to Liquid Light, even though they are from different files.
"Nebulum"
I created this by starting in Raydream and then rendering it to Photoshop in order to add all the special effects: glow, streaks, and clouds.
"Freeze Down"
I saved an image I knew would come in handy a long time ago, and just recently, I opened it to see how I could improve it and came up with this in just 10 minutes.
Various Maintenance Images
"Soon"
The image I put in areas that aren't complete.
"Myst Art Sun"
An animated gif made for a revamp of my framed site.
"Myst Art Pixelate"
The first version of the animated logo.
"Logo Six"
One of the first and most used logos on my site.
"Logo New"
The old intro logo. Goes well with the craquelure background.
"Lava Logo"
This is my newest and best logo. I was striving for a lava-lamp look and I achieved it.
Common Backgrounds
"Stars"
The background used on this page and one I like to use often. This can be found on many free sites, I don't copyright this.
"Purple Clouds"
A background I made for a friend.
"Craquelure"
The first background I made for my site.
"Snake skin"
My first and only attempt at making a photorealistic tiling background from a photo.
