Characters

The Characters you can expect to meet in the first three chapters:

Mr. Moto

Mr. Moto is a black cat residing at Blair Court, Boundary Road, London, UK. He has many peculiar habits, the most annoying of which is that he likes to pee on the tires of certain cars in the garage below Blair Court. Favourite Movie: Babe

Kozo

Kozo is a one year old black cat who has "adopted" Mr. Moto and who is living in the same flat, even tho the owner of the flat has no idea. Kozo tends to be a bit impatient and lacks the diplomatic skills of his "mentor", Mr. Moto. He would never pee on a car, but doesn't think twice about potted plants. Favourite movie: Austin Powers.

Ian

Ian lives in Watford and enjoys televised football matches and eating Chinese takeaway (sometimes Tandoori takeaway). He has taken a job as a night watchman at the Museum of Mankind (branch of the British Museum) and although he has never particularly liked cats, he has taken a liking to Moto & Kozo (possibly because they are talking cats). He prefers baguettes from Asda and likes to make carrot soup Favourite movie: Return of the Living dead..

Eric

Eric is an optician, residing just outside central London. While he is quite a down to earth person who is generally interested in scientific hobbies and travel, he is given to occasional quixotic gestures and "dreamer" binges. He has been kidnaped in chapter 2, but the reasons for his kidnaping are not revealed until later. It seems that Eric has a strange and wonderful secret.

Susie

Susie is an administrator at a London University. A complex personality enables her to put together the rescue party that will go after Eric. She is a bit of an adventurer, interested in history, philosophy, religion and ancient civilization. But she can bounce back from her studies of Dr. John Dee, to make an admittedly "mean Wild Mushroom Risotto".

Danielle Marie

Danielle Marie is a creature from another dimension who has decided to aid in the rescue of Eric. At this stage little is known about her personality, except that she was apparently in the Museum at the time of the abduction due to her keen interest in Art. She was not with the party of abductors, although they were, like her, inter-dimensional beings.

The Narrator

The narrator (that not so silent, but so far obscured, story teller) was originally from another universe. It (for it is without gender restraints) has come to this place to observe and learn. Its motivation had been purely scientific until now. It viewed cats and people as one "species" ("that species inhabiting this space") and had started recording the life and times of Moto & Kozo because it believed that Moto and Kozo were two of the most "representative" beings on the planet.

Psychedelic Zebra

So-called because of his many interesting patches of colour. He is "jumping" from his dimension and become responsible for abducting Eric. The"Zebra" has brought several friends with him and, as it will become apparent, they had long-planned the kidnaping as part of a more complex strategy. They know "Eric's Secret".
