I'm Larissa Dyatlova, an artist from Zhostovo, a well known craft willage 20 miles from Moscow. Decorative painting on metal plates is the art which has been developed here and is carefully passed from one generation of artist to another for more than 200 years.

I learned the art of Zhostovo from my mother, Nina Goncharova. Both her father and grandfather were artists as well, lived and worked here in Zhostovo. I hope very much that my son Nikita will continue traditions of our traditions and skills.
