Welcome to my military aircraft page. Here is an A-6 Intruder. These were heavily used in Vietnam and in the Gulf War. These are being retired and replaced by the F/A-18 Hornet.

Here is a tail from a Lockheed Constellation. The Connie was probably the loveliest passenger/transport ever designed. This particular airplane was once owned by actor John Travolta.

Here is one of the many heroes of the Gulf War: the A-10 Thunderbolt, called by it's crews the "Warthog". The A-10 uses armor-piercing depleted uranium rounds, which are much more dense than lead.

The business end of the A-10: it's 30mm canon. Not the view you want to see if you are in an unfriendly armored vehicle!!!
